Who we are - - - - Barnett & Shore Demolition continued in the demolition business in the local Tucson area when after 35 years in business Barnett and Doyoe closed due to the retirement of it's founders . In 1994 Barnett and Shore contractors was formed and expanded into environmental evaluation as well as demolition and salvage continuing to provide inexpensive used materials in their salvage yard. The salvage and resale of building materials, cabinets, decorative, structural, and reusable items from its projects has increased in volume. Barnett and Shore is focused on the re-use of items to limit the amount of material sent to the landfill. This is your "thrift" store for builders and remodelers. Treasures abound here. Barnett & Shore Contractors, L.L.C. (Barnett & Shore) was organized and started conducting business in 1994 performing work in the environmental field, conducting UST removals, site assessments, soil contamination assessments, soil remediation, asbestos surveys and asbestos abatements in addition to their primary business of demolition. Demolition became a ever increasing percentage of the business until today, where demolition makes up approximately 90% of the work conducted.
Basing their business ethic on honesty, hard work and customer satisfaction, Barnett & Shore set out to develop a strong customer base has enjoyed a steady growth in business and capability. Barnett and Shore is a family run business.
Barnett & Shore’s main thrust is demolition, yet still maintains strong competencies in the environmental fields. The owners of the company, are involved in not only the day to day operation of the business but visit every job site and remain involved through out the duration of the project, including inspecting job sites upon completion to assure a quality product. Barnett & Shore has assembled an extensive fleet of equipment in the 12 years it has been in business, allowing them to conduct both small and large projects. The current list includes 6 excavators, 4 loaders, a backhoe, forklift, extendable boom forklift, scissor lifts, boom lift, skid steer loaders, flatbed trucks, mechanics service truck, numerous pickups and trailers as well as several attachments for the excavators and skid steer such as hammers, shears, grapples, universal thumbs, shears and concrete crunchers and processors. They enable us to rapidly perform large or small projects through a controlled demolition process. Barnett & Shore has a 2005 Peterbilt Rolloff truck and various size boxes for hauling debris generated on our projects. Barnett & Shore also has working agreements with numerous trucking companies statewide for hauling services on an as needed basis. Barnett & Shore has accounts with the major rental firms in Arizona and has available their full compliment of equipment and specialty tools in addition to our own fleet and in house speciality tools.
Barnett and Shore are both AHERA Certified Asbestos Building Inspectors and AHERA Certified Contractor Supervisors. For asbestos abatement, Barnett & Shore has worked with numerous Abatement Contractors including Southwest Hazard Control, and Environmental Strategies and understand what is required during abatement.
We hold a BE Asbestos Abatement, an A-General Engineering and a L-57 and C-22R Wrecking (Demolition) license from the Arizona Registrar of Contractors.
